William D. Wilkins, "Pie", was born on July 9, 1943 to Lemon Wilkins and Dollie Lee Wilkins. He departed his life on Friday, December 15, 2006

William was a very respectful and neat person. He loved the Lord, fishing and horse shoe will forever be remembered. He attended Halifax County Schools and joined Greater Saints Chapel Baptist Church at an early age.

William was preceded in death by one son: Travis Wilkins, both of his parents, Lemon and Dollie; two brothers: Cecil and Samuel Wilkins oand one sister: Mildred Landrum.

William leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters: Andrea Pep Williams (Wayne) and Loretta Alston (Michael) of Enfield, NC; two sons: Roszell and Keith Williams, both of Enfield, NC; one very special and loving friend: Geraldine Simmons of Enfield, NC; one brother:Lemon Tom Wilkins, Jr. (Lula May) of Enfield, NC; six sisters: Hattie M. Bryant, Doretha W.Bell, Mary W. Dickens, all of Enfield, NC, Josephine Wilkins and Florence Rodgers, both of Rocky Mount, NC and Katy Bell of New Jersey; six grandchildren: Tiffany Simmons, Michael Alston, Jr., Justin Williams, Kalya, Leighton and Marquasha Brinkley; two great-grandchildren: Mandez and Zy'Kueria Simmons, Christine Fobbs, a special friend; a very special caretaker: Denetha Coppin and many other special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
