A visitation will be held Wednesday May 6, 2020 at Lea & Pope Funeral Home Chapel, 215 S McDaniel Street Enfield, NC from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be held at Lea & Pope Funeral Home Chapel Thursday May 7, 2020 at 1:00 pm.

Burial will follow at Wayman AME Church Cemetery, Enfield NC.

OBITUARY

Timothy Lorae Hardy, son of the late Garnesy Luther Hardy and Earline Hardy was born on January 29, 1959 in Halifax County North Carolina. He departed this life on Friday May 01, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville North Carolina.

Timothy attended Halifax County Public Schools, graduating from the former Eastman High School in 1977. He was a loving and kind hearted person who loved his daughter dearly.

Timothy was employed at Burlington Industries Inc for over thirty years. After retiring, Timothy later was employed at Cummins Engine Plant, Whitakers North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents Garnesy and Earline Hardy and Grandson Jamari Hunter.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter Tracey Hardy of Rocky Mount, one brother Nathan Hardy, one sister Sandra Hardy of the home, one Aunt Veronica Richardson(Kenny Richardson) of Wilson, one nephew Marvin Whitaker of Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
