Thomas Wade Jr. born in Boston, MA on December 24, 1957 he was the second oldest of five born to Thomas Wade Sr. and Bernice (Preston) Wade.

Thomas graduated from Boston High School, in Boston, MA after graduating from high school he enlisted in the marines. After serving his country Thomas made N.C his home for the next thirty years.

Thomas leaves behind his wife Hattie Wade, his three daughters and one son, oldest daughter Bernice Hicks and her husband Tyrone and son Jordan Phillips, Thomas Wade III and his children Michah King and Sykoria King, Shimeka James her husband Josey and daughter Nyasia James from Kinston, NC and youngest daughter Kristen Wade from Creedmoor, N.C. He also leaves behind, two stepchildren: Teddy and Ang-Jel, three brothers and one sister David Linton of Cambridge, MA, Kenneth Wade and his wife Jesseka of Durham, N.C, Robert Wade of Revere, MA and Sheila Johnson and her husband Kenneth of Revere, MA. Thomas was the uncle of four, Marcus Johnson, Alexa Johnson, Jamie Wade, and Kendra Wade.
