Visitation will be Saturday, July 3, 2010 11:00AM at First Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids. Service will follow 12noon at the church. Burial will be in Crestview Cemetery.

Stephanie Gibbs Allen was born to the late Loretta and Leiand Gibbs on May 27,1962 in Calhoun, Georgia, She accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age at First Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend R. H. KIDD.

Stephanie spent much of her life caring and giving to others. She resided the majority of her life in North Carolina and later moved to Birmingham, Alabama where she resided. She worked at Birmingham Budweiser. Her favorite hobbies were taking care of her family.
Stephanie loved her grandchildren and spent much of her time loving and adoring her family.

Stephanie departed her earthly life to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 26, 2010.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving and devoted grandmother Goldie (Mae-Mae) Mercer; four loving children, Nicole Allen (Dontrel) Farris, Chantal Allen, Ashley Allen, Elza Allen Jr; six grandchildren, Amarii Allen, Zamir Farris, Elijah Allen, Zikira Gibbs, A'maiya Allen, Elicia Allen and expecting two heavenly bundles; eleven sisters, Zena Gibbs, Kimberly (late Pedro) Mercado, Late Gladys Marie Gibbs, Sylvia (Otis) Shaw, Hilda (Linwood) Beckwith, MaryAnn (Gary) Bryant, Janice Gibbs, Jenny (Robert) Brown, Ella (William) Merrick, Jeanette (Gene) Bell, Late Margaret Ann Gibbs; ten brothers, Larry (Joyce) Mercer, Colin (Barbara) Barrow, Morris Howard, Late Leonard Gibbs, Hubert Gibbs, Purnell Blunt, Leiand (Teresa) Gibbs, Leon (Charmaine) Gibbs, James Blunt, Late James Gibbs; and a host of other relatives and friends.
