Funeral service for Mrs. Muriel Joyce Fenner  DuBose-Rook will be Wednesday Feb. 9, 2022 12PM at Crowells  Baptist Church 4603 NC 481 Halifax, NC 27839. A public viewing will be held Tuesday 4-7PM at Lea & Pope Funeral Home and the burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her late parents Deacon Clarence Fenner and Mother Ethel T. Fenner

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Minister James Martin DuBose, Jr.;    daughter-in-law, Teshuna Worrells DuBose; grandsons, Jamond Martravius DuBose and Jameson Myles DuBose; aunts, Argiree Fenner and Maude Cobbs; and host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to The Muriel J.F. DuBose-Rook Scholarship. Checks may be made payable to the Halifax County Schools Education Foundation, 9525 Hwy 301 S, Halifax, NC 27839. Please place The Muriel J.F. DuBose-Rook Scholarship on the memo line.
