Moses Lynch was born to the late Ollie Lynch and Susie Richardson Lynch on October 2, 1937 in Halifax County, North Carolina. He departed peacefully from this life on August 1, 2009.
Moses attended Halifax County Schools. He joined Ivory Hill Baptist Church at an early age and remained a member until his death.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Flossie Jordan and to this union two children were born.

Moses enjoyed spending time with family and friends and enjoyed people, fun, and making people laugh.

In addition to his parents, Moses was preceded in death by one sister: Florine Richardson; and three brothers: Sterling Lynch, Morris Lynch, and Al Lynch.

His spirit lives today and forevermore in the hearts and minds of his children: Channel Jordan of Enfield, NC, Arnetta Hewlin (Rod) of Enfield, NC, and Joyce McCarter (Sheldon) of Winston Salem, NC; six grandchildren: Rod, Jr., of Greensboro, NC, Brittany and Cedric Hewlin of Enfield, NC, and Xavia, Alana and Alaya of Winston Salem, NC; one great-grandchild: Zaria; one sister: Elizabeth Rudd (Jesse); two brothers: Henry Lynch (Martha) and Horace Lynch (Beaufort); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
