Michele Denise Goines was born on July 5, 1969 in Philadelphia, PA. She was the oldest of three children born to the late Richard Mills and Cynthia Goines. Michele was educated in the Philadelphia, PA Public School System. She moved to North Carolina in 1992 to join her paternal family. Michele attended the Halifax Community College to educate herself in the health care field. She was employed with Extra Home Health Care in Enfield, North Carolina as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was also employed at Krispy Kreme Doughnut Co. in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Her main job was raising her children and teaching them the meaning of hard work. She was loved and respected by many and always took the time to help others in need. She attended New Bethel Baptist Church whenever the spirit led her to.
She leaves in God's care five children, Latif, Jamillah, Johnika, Sharif and Ormari, of the home; two brothers, Antonio Goines of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Bryant Mills (Monique) of Clinton, MD, two sisters; Phyllis King, of Enfield, NC, and Nikki Mills of Philadelphia, PA, six aunts; Alberta Clay of Philadelphia, PA, Joyce Schmidt of Oxon Hill MD, Herlinda Haymer (Jessie) of Florissant, M0, Clarissa Davis (Leonard) of Accokeeh, MD, Pamela Hill (Charles) and Edna Williams (Tyrone) of Enfield, NC, nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
