Lloyd Melton was born to Ruby Melton and Larry Melton on June 5, 1968 in Norfolk, Virginia. He is the youngest of six siblings. He went to Alaska with his family at the age of nine months old, where he stayed until he was nineteen years old. He then moved to Raleigh, North Carolina with his family, where he stayed most of his life.
Lloyd was sick most of his life, but he really enjoyed life. He was the smallest of most of his relatives, but enjoyed hanging out with them. He could do most of what they could do and if he couldn't, he would have someone carry him on their back.

Possi and The Strong Arm Committee). He was well loved by his friends. He loved watching movie DVDs with his step-dad, James and he loved to read, play Dominos, Checkers, and Chess. Lloyd enjoyed any mechanical/electronic work. He was a joy to all of his family.
