Jimmy Lee Caudle, Sr., son of the late Walter Caudle, Sr. and Ethel Whitaker Caudle, was born on March 3, 1952 in Winton, North Carolina. He departed this life on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at his home.
"Jim Bob", as he was affectionately known by all, grew up in Enfield, North Carolina, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, cooking, working on cars, watching old western cowboy flicks, and hanging out with his brother, Walter, at his auto mechanic shop. Jim Bob was employed at the Ceco Metal Division as a welder for over 20 years, along side a number of family and friends, until his health declined. He will be truly missed by all.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Shirley Shaw Caudle of Whitaker, NC; three sons: Jimmy Lee Caudle, Jr. (fiance, Genisha) of Rocky Mount, NC, Corey Shaw (wife, Shonda) of Tarboro, NC, and Darrick Shaw (fiance, Iesha) of Rocky Mount, NC; five grandchildren: Demondre, Darricka, Devonda, Jaiden, and Chloe; one brother: Walter Caudle, Jr. of Rocky Mount, NC; one sister: Idella Allen of Newport News, VA; Uncle and Aunt: Lamen and Queen Bryant of Whitakers, NC, Aunt Williebelle Davis of Enfield, NC, Aunt Frances Jones of Pennsylvania and Aunt Cathy Mae Jones of Maryland; mother-in-law: Susie Shaw of Pinetops, NC; three sisters-in-law: Elaine Satterwhite (husband, Chester) of Sharpsburg, NC, Evalene Shaw of Pinetops, NC, and Patricia Dupree of Tarboro, NC; one brother-in-law: Randolph Shaw of Pinetops, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
