Obituary

James Mayo McLean,72, went home on July 27,2006 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill. He was born on April 12, 1934 in Harnett County to the late Lee Etta and Eugene McLean.
The family moved to Raleigh several years later where he attended Raleigh Public Schools, married and raised his family here.
James was employed by Bells Carpet Creation at the time of his passing where he worked for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his daughter: Deborah.
He is survived by his daughter: Jacqueline Woodard of Raleigh, NC; 2 sons Louis McCullers (Barbara) of Raleigh,NC and Anthony McLean of Connecticut; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister: Mildred Beatrice Leach (Wilbur); one brother Willie Ezel McLean (Juanita) of Orlando, FL; one uncle; one aunt; special friend : Lyndia Glenn and Patricia Tugwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral services will be Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at Providence Harvest Church, Raleigh, NC. The visitation will be Wednesday, August 2, 2006 from 1:00 – 1:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow the funeral services at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Flowers can be delivered on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. to Revelation Free Will Baptist Church, 805 E. Davie Street, Raleigh, NC.
