James Milton Hart, Jr., was the son of Joyce Hart Barcliff and the late James Milton Hart, Sr. James was born on September 1, 1966 in Norfolk, Virginia.

He received his education through the Halifax County Public School System.

James was a very fun-loving person and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He also enjoyed sports, especially football.

James departed this life on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.

James came from a very close-knit family. He and his siblings were raised by their great-grandparents, the late Ellen and John Arrington, formerly of Enfield, North Carolina. He also served as a loving uncle to his special niece and nephew.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother: Joyce Barcliff of Greenville, NC; three brothers: Wendell Hart of the home, Samuel "Sam" Hart of Philadelphia, PA, and Curtis "Curt" Hart of Indianapolis, IN; one sister: Sharon Hart; one niece: Shanequa Hart; one nephew: Tyheem Taylor, all of Nashville, NC; a special friend he called "sister": Cornitha Daniels (Poochie); and a host of other family members and friends.
