Mrs. Isabelle Pittman Peterson,
daughter of the late Harriett Pittman and the late Jerry Lawrence, was born April 16th, 1927 and departed this life on February 3rd, 2011. Isabelle began her walk with the Lord at a very early age and continued that walk faithfully until the end.

Two sons, Bobby Lee and Odell Peterson and one daughter, Elizabeth Pittman Candies preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn: two daughters, Clementine Tillery of Rocky Mount, NC and Lindell Whitaker of Richmond, VA; three sons, Timothy Peterson of Columbus, GA, Terry Peterson of Raleigh, NC and Anthony Peterson of Enfield, NC; Robert Pierce of Enfield, NC whom she loved as a son; Lillian Drew of Newport News, VA, and Lathanette Creasman of Raleigh, NC whom she loved as daughters; three daughters-in-law, Leslie, Teresa and Bernice Peterson; two sons-in-law, Ernest Candies, Jr. and Russell Whitaker; twenty-eight grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
