Mr. Billiard Wright, better known as "Boy Wright", was born on November 3, 1913 in Edgecombe County, North Carolina to the late Henry Wright and Nellie King Wright. He departed this earthly life on September 5, 2007 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
He attended school in Edgecombe County. He worked at Jones Lumberland Company in Scotland Neck, North Carolina for many years.

James Baines; son-in-law: Richard Dukes and sister-in-law: Thelma Wright.
He leaves to cherish, four daughters: Ethel Bell Pittman Dukes of Whitakers, NC, Annie Bell Arlington of Rocky Mount, NC, Dorothy Pittman Bryant of New Haven, CT, and Louella Wright of New Haven, CT; one son: Charles Wright of Newark, NJ; two brothers: Haywood Wright of Enfield, NC, William Henry "SamBo" Smith and wife, Mattie Smith of Enfield, NC; two sisters: Lula Speight of New York and Katie Williams of Enfield, NC; two daughters-in-law: Bessie Ray Wright of Baltimore, MD and Helen Wright of Rocky Mount, NC; sisters-in-law: Ruth Wright of Richmond, VA and Suzanne Cutchin of Enfield, NC; three special family friends to him: Brenda, Carl and Calvin Dickens of Enfield, NC; 49 grandchildren; more than 1 12 great-grandchildren; more than 93 great-great¬grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
