Geraldine Gary Neville was born on January IS, 1932 in Halifax County to the late (Barry and Alice Tillery Gary. She departed this earthly life on June 1,2010. Geraldine was educated in the Halifax County School System. She later married Cornell Neville and this union was blessed with three children. She had five sisters and one brother, four of whom preceded her in death.

Geraldine, affectionately known as "Big Sis" has left to cherish her memories: her three children, Diane Barfield (Charlie Harris) of the home in (Whitakers NC, Charles Neville (Ann) of Enfield, NC, and Mary Alice Marrow (Robert)of Newark, NJ; two sisters, Mariah Lewis of Halifax, NC and Earlean Simmons of Enfield, NC; one brother-in-law, Johnnie Lee Simmons; three grandchildren, Felicia M. Jones (Earl) of Newark, NJ, Shamika Neville, and Charla Neville of Enfield, NC; two step grandchildren, Joel Hunter (Tasha) of Enfield, NC and Stephen Hunter (Kenyata) of(Belews Creek, NC; nine great grandchildren, Keith, Kyle, Justice, Immanuel, Onjouleque, NaTash'ja, Joshua, Brandon, and Anthony and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who Will miss her dearly.
