Ernestine Clark Cherry, (Doll Baby), daughter of
the late Charlie and Mable Pittman, was born on January 25, 1937 in Halifax County, North Carolina. She entered into eternal life on October 9, 2007 at 6:45 pm at Lifecare of North Carolina.
She recently rededicated her life to God and reunited with Saint Paul Baptist Church of Enfield, North Carolina.
Mrs. Cherry was a life-long resident of Enfield, North Carolina.
Her memories she leaves with her devoted husband: Eddie Cherry; nine children: Shirley Silver (Daniel), Annie Macklin (late Jerry), Harry Clark (Lesha), Erma King (Victor), Reverend Charlie Clark (Elaine), Priscilla Knight (Carl), Jerry Clark, Melinda Clark and a very special and devoted son: Garland Clark (Gwendolyn); twenty-one grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers: Steven Taylor (Betty Jean) and the late Dewitt Taylor; six sisters: Catherine William (late Howard), Lillie Mae Alston (late Thomas Bryant), Evangeline Taylor (Milton Pittman), Barbara Taylor, Leslie Boone and Diane Pittman; a very special niece: Patricia Taylor; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
