Reflections of her Life...

Erma A. Sessoms the daughter of the late Annie Jones Sessoms and Foster Seesoms was born on December 18,1932 in Halifax County, North Carolina. She slept quietly away September 6, 2011 in Pen Medicine at Rittenhouse Philadelphia, PA, her spirit lives today and forever in the hearts of those she touched.

Erma accepted Christ at an early age. She joined Daniels Chapel Baptist Church. Later in life she became a faithful member of Kingdom Hall until her health began to decline.

Erma received her education at Halifax County Training School and graduated in 1952. She attended Temple University for drafting and designing. She also attended Tracey Warner School of Fashion Design where she earned her degree in fashion design and textiles.

She is survived by her sisters Iris Harris of Baltimore, MD Qeorgia Qoins, Claudia Jamison, Blondeena Sessoms, Dorothy Johnson, Qorinteen Qriffin,and Carolyn Seesoms. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two sisters Annie Lynn Sessoms and Baby Sessoms.

Erma leaves to mourn with many memories a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great -great nieces and nephews also known as the Bitties, as well as a host of family members, friends and neighbors.
