Cornelius Marvel Nicholson, son of Roxie Johnson Morris and Leslie L Nicholson, Jr. was born on November 15, 1970. On Monday June 25, 2007 God sent his angel to Upper Marlboro, Maryland to take him home.

During his early life, he resided in Des Moines, Iowa with his mother where he also received his education. He relocated to the Enfield area to be closer to family and friends as he entered into his adult life.
He will forever be remembered for the way he touched the lives of others. He had a smile that would melt your heart and could always make you laugh.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories and the special times shared with his devoted wife of 12 years, Amanda Anita Harvey Nicholson. Three children in which he loved dearly, Neara, Nicholas, and Aliyah Nicholson; His mother Roxie Morris (Chester) of Rocky Mount, NC. His father Leslie Nicholson, Jr. (Elnora) of Indianapolis, Indiana; Two brothers, Brandon Nicholson of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and Jermel Nicholson of Indianapolis, Indiana; A caring grandmother, Beatrice Nicholson of Enfield, NC; a mother-in-law, Clara Harvey of Roanoke Rapids; a brother in law Claude Harvey, Jr. (Barbara) of Wilson, NC; one neice; four nephews; a host of aunts, and many, many friends.
