Mr. Chester A. McPherson of Newport News, Virginia, passed on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Lea and Pope Funeral Home Chapel, 215 S. McDaniel Street, Enfield, North Carolina. Burial will follow in the Greene-Simmons Family Cemetery, 135 South Clanton Drive Enfield, North Carolina.  A Public Viewing will be held two hours prior to the funeral service from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
