Carolyn Jean Brinson's Obituary
Carolyn "Jean" Brinson, daughter of the late Jasper and Christine Brinson, was born on June 19, 1955 in Halifax County, North Carolina. On Friday,
February 5, 2010, God called her home from her earthly tabernacle
into eternal rest.
She joined Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful member until illness prevailed. Carolyn attended Halifax County Public Schools and Halifax Community College in Weldon, North Carolina.
Carolyn was a loving and giving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Three siblings preceded her in death, one sister: Emma Talley and two brothers: Jasper, Jr. and Clark Brinson.
To cherish her precious memories, she leaves a loving daughter: Leslie Brinson of the home; one granddaughter: Za-Maria Edmonds of the home; three sisters: Dorothy Crowell of Enfield, NC, Ida Washington (Herman) of Enfield, NC, and Clementine Brinson of Roanoke Rapids, NC; three brothers: James (Patricia) of Enfield, NC, Julius Lee (Ester) of Enfield, NC, and Otto (Mary) of Charles City, VA; a special and devoted niece: YoTanda Brinson; special friends: Mabel Johnson, Georgianna Fobbs, Arlene Pitts, and Linda Bryant; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
