Mr. Anthony Lament High was born on September 14, 1970 in Nash County, North Carolina to the parentage of 'Donald Lewis Williams and the late Joyce Marie High. On Friday, October 16, 2009, Anthony answered God's call home at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Anthony received his formal education from the Roanoke Rapids City Schools. He was a graduate of the 1995 graduating class of Roanoke Rapids, High School.

At an early age, Anthony accepted Christ as his Saviour. He joined Holy Tabernacle Revival Center.

Anthony's greatest joy was his family. He was a loving and caring father, son, brother, uncle and friend to all he knew and made contact with.

Anthony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Tommy and Gladys High; and his mother Joyce Marie High.

Those left to cherish the fond memories are his children: Imari and Adrian of the home, Kiara, Anthony, Jr., Zykira, Shykira and Jaqual of Roanoke Rapids, NC; a devoted stepfather: Irvin Jeffries; one brother: Michael (Denise) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; two aunts: Mary Mason (Thomas), and Lois Peters (Marvin) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; one uncle: Willie High of Homestead, FL; one niece: Brittney; one nephew: Michael, Jr. of Roanoke Rapids, NC; a devoted and loving companion that diligently cared for him to the end: Adrienne Moody of the home; one great-aunt: Hattie Lee Roundtree of Roanoke Rapids, NC; one great-uncle: Rev. Clarence High; and a host of other relatives and friends.
