Annette Elizabeth Smith was the middle child born to the late Burney and Ada Smith.
On Monday, January 29, 2006 after her family said it was ok, she answered the Lords call and joined him.
Annette was born on August 31,1944 in NYC. She attended the public school system of NYC. "Nita", as she was fondly known, was an avid solitaire card player. She would play until the numbers were worn off the cards. If you found an old deck of playing cards and a crossword puzzle book, you knew she was close by.
She grew up in Harlem, NYC and relocated with her daughter and her family in 1998 to Enfield, NC, where she spent her last years.
She leaves to cherish her memories her pride and joy, her daughter Jeanice Tillery (Necey), her devoted son-in-law Leonard Tillery, One brother Donald Smith (Pam), two sisters, Adrainne Washington and Rosetta Montgomery. Her loving grandchildren, Grandsons Melvin Smith, David Smith and Granddaughters Yanese Smith and Lenise Tillery. 5 Great Grandchildren - Grandsons Ja'quarious Morrison, Ja'riece Morrison, Ka'heim Dinkins, Ja'Bryon Smith and Great Granddaughter Melia Smith, Niece/daughter Kim Smith-Shaw, Nieces, Denyse Smith and Dorienne Smith, One sister-in-law Brenda Smith. Along with a host of grandnieces and nephews, cousins, friends.
